In May of this year we embarked on a new direction for the way we provide HR support for our team. We decided to outsource our HR function and spoke to a number of suppliers before deciding to appoint The HR Agency to support us. The support provided covers everything from day-to-day HR administration to HR projects and strategic advice on our people plans. Will Cleare, Managing Director of The HR Agency is our main point of contact and advice.
Will says:
“I’ve been in the HR industry for over 20 years now. Initially specialising in Learning & Development, I’ve worked in roles at virtually every level from L&D Coordinator through to HR Director. My background was traditionally retail HR in large organisations such as The Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk and B&Q, before moving to smaller retailers, including Figleaves and The Perfume Shop. However, my last 5 years of employment were spent providing the HR lead to European operations at The Myers-Briggs Company, one of the world’s largest business psychology providers.
I left The Myers-Briggs Company on 31st December 2020, having navigated a turbulent year for the business as it responded to the impact of the pandemic. I did so having registered The HR Agency in early November, meaning in January 2021 I was able to set about getting the business off the ground. I’m so pleased to report that, 8 months in, things are going really well and I was immensely proud The HR Agency was appointed to support Adactus with your HR support.
Having spent time getting to know Adactus, it’s a really exciting time for the business. As the world has tentatively emerged from the effects of the pandemic, the signs for Adactus are really promising. It’s been great meeting such a talented and diverse team and seeing the potential we have to grow together over the next couple of years. One of the most exciting aspects is the current project to grow the business at scale, while ensuring any growth is sustainable over the longer run. It feels like we’re at the beginning of a great journey, one that will be successful for every one of us involved!”
