Creating a single view customer database

A value-adding partnership to achieve Lyrical's company objectives.

Challenge

To enhance the value of an existing database that fed into print media and has now been exclusively digital from Feb 2021!
The data had become very fragmented, which needed to be resolved.

What we did

Created a fully functioning single view customer database

Outcome

This database can now be segmented and used as a marketing tool for Lyrical and its partners.
Working with approved third parties to improve database quality, and database integrity enhanced for marketing activities leading up to the Installer Live Show.

What's next?

Shared company objectives for the next 12 months to allow Adactus to help achieve them through tech solutions.
Honest feedback - to ensure the right outcome is delivered.
Discussions to develop an API solution to allow Lyrical to run their own queries through the database.

Lyrical show

"We've put on the InstallerSHOW for five years and it's become the premier trade event for our industry. In 2021, we took a big step forward by putting on our biggest ever show, with 25% extra floorspace. We needed to ensure we drew a larger crowd, which was especially challenging considering COVID restrictions had meant we hadn't been able to put on the event since May 2019.
We spent the time in lockdown working with Adactus to transform our data, bringing it into one single view, and a managed database. This allowed us to find easy wins, segment our marketing and build our data and penetration.

The InstallerSHOW in 2021 was a huge success and our most attended ever, featuring 152 leading exhibitors, 50 expert speakers and hosted 5,975 attendees across the three days.
